Getting Started
This chapter will provide you with an overview of some of the basic concepts related to optimizing your photographic images in Lightroom. We’ll look at the basic workflow and delve into evaluating images, before and after views, and the History and Snapshot features.

Develop Module Basics
In this chapter you’ll learn how to use the basic adjustment tools in Lightroom’s Develop module to improve the appearance of your digital photos. You’ll see how to use a Develop preset, adjust white balance and exposure, boost colors with Vibrance and Saturation adjustments, and more.

Advanced Develop Adjustments
In this chapter we’ll take a look at some of the more advanced adjustment features of Lightroom’s Develop module, including the Tone Curve, sharpening, and graduated filters. You’ll also learn how to paint adjustments into an image.

Image Cleanup
In this chapter you’ll learn a variety of ways to clean up blemishes and remove distractions in your photographic images. We’ll cover cropping and straightening, noise reduction, lens correction, and more.

Creative Adjustments
This chapter will focus on a variety of creative effects you can apply to your images in Lightroom, including black-and-white, color tints, vignetting, and more.

Duplicating Adjustments
In this chapter you’ll learn how to work efficiently by applying the same adjustments to multiple images.

Lightroom and Photoshop
In this chapter you’ll learn how to put Photoshop to use in the context of a Lightroom-based image-optimization workflow. You’ll see how to send an image from Lightroom to Photoshop, stitch together a panorama in Photoshop, and work with HDR (high dynamic range) images.
